KL Tower--We Made It To the Top

When you hold your hand like this it looks like you are holding the Petronas Towers

We made it to the top of the KL Tower.  The view is beautiful from the top.  It is incredibly high.  The tower has two glass boxes with clear floor on two sides of the tower.  It is fun to be in the boxes and be able to look all around.  It was worth the wait.  I wanted to be able to tell my friend that I got to stand in the box and be at the tower that her uncle built.  Mission completed.
We took the train from out hotel to the airport hotel.  The train travels very fast and only made one stop.  The trip took 20 minutes by train and would have taken over an hour by cab.  Time to make the long trip home.  Goodbye Asia.

Canopy Walk

The Canopy Walk was very pretty.  A lot of stairways and beautiful walkways.  It was very peaceful walking.  Quiet considering we were in the city.  The weather got better so we went back to see if our last chance to go back up the tower would be successful.

Little Zoo by KL Tower

We went to the KL tower, made it up to the top, waited while 20 people had their turn in the clear glass box taking pictures.  The weather got worse so they made everyone leave the tower as it was dangerous as the tower is incredibly tall.  It was almost our turn.  We had waited quite a while already and could not come back tomorrow as we were leaving the next day.  So we went to the little zoo area and canopy walk to pas some time as I really wanted to get back to the top and take pictures as one of my customer's uncle built it. 

Butterfly Garden

From the zoo we walked to the Butterfly Garden. It was about a 10 minute walk.  Easy because last time we figured out how close the Butterfly Garden was to the Bird Park.  The walk has beautiful scenery and the roads/sidewalks are clean and beautiful.  The Butterfly Garden was hot and humid.  Peaceful place to sit and watch the butterflies. but hard to get good pictures of the butterflies who did not sit still for very long.
